My son is on Ship 03 Div 021. Received my letter on Sat, with confirmation that the graduation date is on 12/17 as well. His "A"school is right there in Great Lakes and I am hoping that because they are on a lockdown the same day as graduation that he will be able to come home for a few days.

Mary, that is very interesting. So I guess everyone should just wait until they get their letter to know for sure. Thank you for sharing. Hugs. K

My son is Ship 02 Div 904 with a 12/17 graduation date! I'm excited to know the date because countdown has begun! I received the box today, but can't find it in me to open it right now. I just don't think I'm ready to do that! I also got the form letter with his message on the bottom and it broke my heart just to see his handwriting. My thoughts and prayers are with all the sailors and their families that are here trying to make it through this together! :(

My recruiter called back and said that even tho those divisions are posted on the RTC site that the push divisions are not listed there and hardly ever are. That he has seen divisions not listed there grad early. He also went on to say that he HAS seen a Wednesday graduating even when stand down is going on. he said the divisions that should grad on Christmas Eve SHOULD grad. on the 17th even though its not listed or the Wed. before.. he has seen it done both ways and told me not to get my hopes down yet.. not until I get my letter. He said the BC HATES keeping people past the 8 week mark and has always known them to push them out early. So for those moms/dads/wifes/girlfriends who are not listed on the RTC division and left last week... let us keep our thoughts high until we get our letters!

I can not wait to get home and see if my letter is here. I would assume he would be in DIV 904/905 because he was in band for 6 years.
