Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

sorry, Lori. lol I'm on mountain time, so your 6:30a.m. would be my 4:30a.m. If I have insomnia though, I'll make sure I check on here. :)

Are you talking about the form letter? It comes regular mail.

Although I just recently joined this group, I can see from KLM's posts that she is a hands-on leader. Consider yourselves blessed because that makes such a difference in how the groups progress! Remember, no question is too trivial....we don't mind answering questions again that may have already been answered...because this group is all about learning, understanding, and helping you all to be as peaceful as possible as your recruits are becoming sailors~ so please ask and share!

stewfam: Also, in addition to SOBE's link that Jessica gave you on here....I know someone else on another site mailed her hubby a check for the piks...but it should be made payable to "Navy Exchange." She felt better putting that on there rather than sending a blank check.

Thank you and I am happy you like the site. I want to let you guys know though this is pretty much a group effort and I have had lots of help from you. You told me what you wanted and I found someone who knew how to do it. lol. We are still getting a countdown clock as soon as the date is official and also a music player. I was just thinking it was one week ago that B left to go to Meps and it feels like it's been a month already. I congratulate all of us for getting through this first week. Hugs. K
