My husband left out on the 27th... can't wait to find out his division number. Halloween.. some are trick-r-treating tonight and some are tomorrow. Some people in town think Sunday is a bad day to trick-r-treat. I came home today and found that my husband had sent me an anniversary card and Birthday card before he left.. had some encouraging words in there I would like to share to anyone who reads... " Any ill of the present is shadowed by the promise of the future"

Penny, thank you. You are braver than me, I haven't gone in A's room yet. I would definetely send the picture of the boys and the dogs. Apparently, they really miss their dogs. lol I agree, being a Navy mom is a full time job.
Have a good night and I hope you hear soon. ((hugs))

Oh Betsy...so happy for you! You brought tears to my eyes! I loved hearing what he wrote! So....the 17th, hmmmm...I guess that would be all of us right? We were the last ones so I hope we are together! I tried to get some work done today...laundry, and cleaning N's room! Ugh! I have to chuckle thinking about how he is going to have to make his rack and keep everything impeccable now! I loved reading about the dogs...we have 3 labs and I was going to copy a picture I took of my 2 boys and 3 dogs the night before he left! He loves our dogs! I worked out for two hours today to try to clear my head...between that, writing letters, and trying to keep up on the latest info here...I'm exhausted again! hahaha!

Hi Terry, It is so nice to see you here. There are quite a few that haven't yet met up with others in their division but I am sure once the forms go out, and they mention NFM's in the form letter I think, there will be more and more moms joining. That usually happens. There are still moms that haven't found out their division numbers yet so we will just wait and see. Check out the discussion "Leaving for bootcamp the week of Oct 25th" found in "leaving for bootcamp in October" group and you will find many moms with children leaving on the 26th. Thank you and your son for your service and I am so proud of our children. K

Lolo, thank you. I'm still excited about it. I keep looking at his handwriting. I hope you get your letter soon. I can't wait for everyone else now.
