....sorry for the grammatical errors below....geez! Meant to say dog loverS and "It IS just me and my 2 pups...." Where are my glasses when I need them???? :-)

Ahhhh. Betsy....I can tell you all are dog lover too! My husband was even a vet! It just me and my 2 pups now in the "empty nest." Aren't dogs THE BEST????

KLM: Glad you changed the title for now... just in case someone else wanted to start a 12/17 group (by someone who is not on this group)...it gets confusing when more than one group is started for same PIR date. Now it comes up in "latest" groups if they look for 12/17.

Thanks for leading your group! It is a big job, but it is so rewarding. Jessica and I have led a couple...loved it. Looks like you are a very connected leader...checking in often...which is great. Please let me know if I can ever help...especially when Jess is working and not on here. Good luck!

diannep, thanks. Would you believe that did actually send him pictures today of the dogs, even before I got the letter? One of them has on a Navy cap and the other had on a Navy t-shirt. lol It was on plain paper, no bulkiness. :)

Betsy, I am so happy for you. All four dogs, lol. K

Donna, thanks I hope we do too.
diannep, I love the picture. He's very handsome.

A was one of the first to leave this week, so if he is 12/17, I would think most would be also?
Comment by diannep on October 30, 2010 at 4:15pm
Betsy: I'm sure Jessica has already told you all that it is better to scan pictures onto a sheet of paper (front and back, or back of a letter) to send to recruits rather than separate piks that take up lots of their storage space (they have very little)...and draws attention to "fat" envelopes. right? But they do LOVE pictures. Mine loved receiving his dog pictures too!

I love your photo. Well now I will just change it Monday when we know for sure. K

I forgot to tell you, that there is a personal comment at the bottom. He says "The first day was tough, but not too bad. It's kind of like high school, except angrier (he went to a private school, lol). We got our camo today, it looks awesome. Tell everyone to write me. Love, A. P.S Send pictures of the dogs (all 4, that includes his brother's dog lol)
