lukesgirl, I don't think they are denying them as long as they pass.

If you get an email saying they received that itinerary, does that mean it was accepted, and lukes coming home with me?!

Jewel, I am sorry you may not get to go but I completely understand. Everytime I see my mom I wonder if it is the last time I will see her. She is in such poor health. And really way too young to be in such bad shape. She is 67, has COPD, on Oxygen 24/7, has to take a blood thinner, has Parkinsons, and the list goes on and on. Make sure someone gets the DVD of PIR for you and maybe you and your mom can watch it together :) And isn't it wonderful to see her in the picture? I also got to see my daughter in a pic of the choir, in the front to the right of the mic just like yours lol. It gave me such a comfort to see she was alive and well. Although it would have been better if she had been smiling lol. Here is the pic. I hope you have a great day and I hope your mom is doing better today.

Cindy, here you go http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

Jewel, your daughter know's the bond between a mother and daughter and I'm certain that at this stage in your mom's life, she would want you to be there with her. I'm certain she will totally understand. ((Hugs))

jewel it is hard to think of not being able to make it....but I have been amazed at how resilient and mature my son has become in the few short weeks of bootcamp as I am sure your daughter has too. My husband is also unable to make it to PIR with me and my other son who is going with me. My husband is taking college classes right now and wouldn't you know it....finals fall on the week of PIR...We will be on the road for most of the week driving to and from PIR so he wouldn't be available to take his finals in his classes....and his professors won't budge....they won't allow a makeup exam time for him and if he doesn't take the test he fails and still has to pay for the course :( when we explained this to our son he was more than understanding!!!! He knows if there was a way that dad would be there...plust there is still graduation from Aschool so maybe my husband can make it to that one!!

Thank you, Sailor's girl, I appreciate the support. You know, you can have a very nice, romantic wedding for not much money if you and your friends and relatives can do some of the things yourself. It also has more meaning.
