Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Betsy just hang in there i have all my support and prayers to the sailors graduating this date!!!! I know everyone is so excited to have their sailors for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be the first Christmas I am going to spend with my sailor!!! because last year I work the entire time during Christmas!!! Im so so so excited for everyone!!! you will get a call really soon!! good luck!!!!!!! and God bless you all!!!

That is so awesome that your sailor is coming home too. Woohoo!

We are still waiting to hear about the dates for BS21. Unfortunately, we haven't heard from most of our recruits for awhile and are hoping that soon we will receive letters with the dates in them. Thanks for the prayers!

that what i am figuring out here with my sailor too... he said he is coming home for christmas... got a call this morning when he arrive to his next command and then he told me he is going to call me again but nothing... I guess this is how military life is?? Lol... Let's all together do the count down for this coming pass in review!!! I am so excited for everyone here!!! do you guys already know when the BS21 is?? so that I can get my blue candle ready!!!! :) I have all your sailor recruits in my prayers!!! I'm with you moms,dads, sibling, cousins, grandma,grandpa,GIRLFRIEND's(like me), boyfriends, friends and aunt and uncles!!! did i forgot any?? just remind me... i dont want to forget any precious people on the recruits's life!!!! we're almost there on 12/17!!!!

Sailor'sGirlNukeWifetoBe, Thank you so much for your kind words. It's hard to believe that it's almost our recruits turn for graduation. Our recruits were allowed to take leave to come home for the holidays before reporting to A school. Many of them are doing it. We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to have them home for Christmas.

ok my sailor was on 12/3 and now he is in his next command.... anybody know if this batch of sailor is going straight home when they graduate or would they need to report on their next command first???

There isn't a 12/10/2010 PIR Group; the last PIR was 12/3 and the next is 12/17.
