OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Tamidrake, I'm sorry but I can't read the flag. It could really be anyone. I was actually just kidding and pretending that my son was in there, since you really can't see their faces. :)

Since some of you do not have your page set to receive e-mails, I am also posting this here. I will need to call the Ramada Inn on Thursday, Dec. 9 to give them an approximate count of people attending the M&G. Please e-mail me, with the total number of guests that will be in your party by then. I realize that some of you have have RSVP's on the Event Discussion, but it you would please also e-mail me, then I will know for sure that I will have included all in your party.

The Meet & Greet is on Thurs. Dec. 16 at the Ramada Inn, 200 North Green Bay Road, Waukegan, IL from 6-8p.m. There will be snacks and a cash bar will be available. Hope to see all of you there. Thank you,

Betsy
