Glad to see all the excitement here. I am tired and trying to focus on the job is getting hard. But I n eed to get caught up before I can go and it is not coming together. Of course this is a busy fund raising time for us. So that is causing stress because it is not going well.

ask your postmaster how long it takes for your mail to reach there. Mine told me it is at least 5, but if it includes a Sunday figure on 6. Also said to remember that just because it made it to base doesnt mean your recruit gets it that day.Could also add a day to it or more. He is former Navy guy !!

Thank you for deleting yours as well....Just a side note...I did not want to imply that is what he did or was doing ;)!

I did think about the scrapbook thing, but there's not much to use..he never wrote me this whole time, just called me..I'm not very happy about it, but with his promotion I understand how busy he's been. I've realized I need to be understanding if I want everything to work for us and I'm already getting used to the navy lifestyle..its a complicated one with him still in boot, but I'm excited for A school, when hell have his phone.

Lukesgirl...have you done the scrapbook...you can put copies of letters in it and what was going on while he was gone...and include pictures from PIR etc...just a thought...

everything is coming together for everyone :) I'm raking my brain to figure out what to do for Lukes 25th birthday on the 18th, the day after Graduation..he knows we don't have a lot of money, with me paying all our bills while he's away, but I still want to make it special and do something to surprise him...
Any last minute ideas you ladies can think of would be soo much help!! :)
(I already bought him two new video games for Christmas, so I know that will keep him happy while he's home lol.)
