Lynn, thanks for advice about the BS. Unfortunately, we have all been trying to get that info from our recruits for awhile now. Only a couple of recruits have given us dates. I know that I personally have written to my son on 5 different times and asked him, with no reply so far. :( I am hoping that maybe this Wed. I will hear something. Most of us have not received phone calls since Thanksgiving and I know that my son wasn't aware of the date at that time.

Okay there is something wrong here...it is 25 degrees in KY...hello do you know how blasted cold it must be in GL if it is 25 degrees here...I am about straight south of them....yuck...

Cindy if you get ahold of the picture people...you may be ablt to get your son's pictures at PIR...it is worth a try...

Don't forget to start asking when your recruits have battlestations...Dianne takes care of this thank heavens...cause man she is the bomb at getting that schedule down pat...but she is hanging with family some right now...so lets surprise her and get that question in your letters. Let's show her how clever you are and ask this question..On what day of the month and what day of the week does your battlestations start? Then we will see if we can get a consensus for Dianne. Okay get that letter sent out...lol!!

p.s....I called the photo lab myself on Friday, they were not too 'thrilled' to give me any answers, but said 'we could order pictures at PIR" but it would take 6-8 weeks to get them from then...if your SR did not order them when they were taken. So, yes, we can order them at PIR...it will just be a wait to get them.

Dana, I don't really know, but I would call them. You could probably order ahead of time with a credit card, I would expect.

Do you think we can order the package A the day before for our recruit if we are up there in time?

Dot Mom I too have not heard anything from my child since Thanksgiving. I did just talk with my cousin - he was an RDC for four years. He said this week and next the kids willl be lucky they have a few minutes to do anything except eat and sleep. So I guess my next communication will be I am a sailor mom. Or at least I pray that is the call I get.
