Yes, Susan, I'm sure you are right, they are probably pretty overwhelmed right now. They not only have our recruits, but also the recruits for the 12/22 PIR date to process.

Sending another email for a confirmation is a great idea.

Sportsmom - Congrats!! That sounds awesome!!! I also have no clue what it would be for :)

TysMom - I agree. My guess is that the office is overwhelmed with requests right now. Hopefully that means they will work some OT this weekend and get caught up. I hope you hear something soon! Susan

Wendy & twosilva - I sent it on Monday and hadn't heard anything by yesterday afternoon. So I sent a email requesting confirmation that they had received it and I got an email back within a hour saying that they had received it. They didn't say anything was wrong with it so I am assuming he is good to go.

Wendy - I would do the same. Send an email asking for confirmation.

Twosilva - Give it until this afternoon then i would also ask for confirmation. Since the deadline is Tuesday and it's Friday now, it would be nice if you could get it confirmed today and not stress about it over the weekend.

sportsmom, Congratulations to your daughter. That is awesome! I don't know what it would be though, Maybe Anti M or Jessica would know?

Tysmom, I'm sorry. I know that this process is so frustrating. ((hugs))

lukesgirl, yes, include his name, ship and division and e-mail it.

Wow, every time I come here I get more and more discouraged by others messages. This is a very stressful time in preparing for graduation on our end too. I have sent, resent and sent again asking for confirmation on the travel plans for my SR and have STILL NOT RECEIVED any confirmation!!! That's very frustrating! I'm reading of other's approvals and confirmations and others that have even been rejected. I do not understand why this process is so out of control when it is a very important part of it.
Comment by lukesgirl on December 3, 2010 at 12:33pm
So should I just email that and give them his full name and division number?
Comment by Betsy, mom of Stennis sailor on December 3, 2010 at 12:24pm
lukesgirl, the only email address that I have is the scheduling office. I have asked the 12/22 PIR group if they know of a fax number. I looked back on our posts and couldn't find a fax number.

The email address is

Scheduling.Office@navy.mil

Is there any number you can call or an email address for them to look up your SR to make sure their flight went through?
