Cindy, thanks for the tip on the sizing. I just ordered children's sizes so far, so hopefully they will be ok for them.

Good Afternoon everyone. I hope you are all having a great day. I am missing my sailor so much today. It is her 21st birthday. I was able to call a local bakery in VA and order her a birthday cake :-) Wish I could share it with her. Some of the ribbons were mailed today and the others tomorrow. If you haven't sent you payment please get it to me. I want to get them to you in plenty of time for PIR.

@ Betsy...I love that site. I have gotten many of things from it! One think on sizing though...things runs small!!! I have gotten several T-shirts for our entire family from it...the Navy Mom Coffee mug etc...I thought I put the link up already, they also have the "RED FRIDAYS" T-SHirts :)! They have one that says "RED FRIDAYS...ITS A MILITARY THING..." on it, in RED of course...cute :)! (mom on a mission thing...LOL)

For the ladies:

(2) Women. One earring per ear (centered on earlobe) may be worn while in uniform. Earrings shall be 4mm - 6mm ball (approximately 1/8 - 1/4 inch), plain with shiny or brushed matte finish, screw on or with posts. Gold for officers/CPOs, and silver for enlisted personnel. Small single pearl earrings are authorized for wear with Dinner and Formal Dress uniforms.

That pearl earrings thing? Mostly officers, I never saw any enlisted other than chiefs wear Dinner Dress.

In case any nervous wives or finacees ask, yes, they may wear gold wedding bands.

Many of the sailors cannot wear their jewelry while working. I couldn't wear anything metal while working on electronics, other rates which work with moving parts or strong signals (I'm simplifying greatly here) cannot wear their rings or watches. A chain for the ring is useful, and a lot of us carried pocket watches rather than wrist watches. I also had a small jewelry pouch to stash in my toolbox for when I had to remove my jewelry rather than just stuff it in my pockets and risk losing it. More important for girls I guess.
