I hope all our wonderful ladies are having a great afternoon.

Stacey, that is an awesome way to say it.

Kathy, Welcome!

Lori, I can't believe tomorrow is already December.

Guess what I found out today? It's really not a good idea to read When the Eagles Invade the Nest while sitting at a Starbucks. RAOC!

Hoping for some more letters today ladies!

Maryland mom, they probably can wear civilian clothes as they will be on leave. While the Navy can control their liberty, they can only give them broader guidelines while on leave.

One thought, everyone.. have a safe place to stash, and find, their leave papers. They MUST have these to check back in. Very problematic if they lose them. Do NOT misplace their leave papers. As new sailors, some will be nervous and not let them out of their sight at first, but others are going to get rushed and forget to take them along when they go. Keeping track of their paperwork may not be second nature to them yet. Be a good mom and help them remember!

I know what you mean about being excited Cindy. I'm sure we all share in that! It's like coming home with a new baby or something isn't it? LOL
Are we all asked to wear red to graduation no matter what division or ship number?

Ladies, we have discussed about the wearing of the uniform for the trip home. Also how we need to protect it from being soiled, but what about once they are home ? Is there regulations about what they are allowed to wear while at home ? What about going to the mall, ballgame, movies, etc. I wouldnt think they would be in uniform all the time.
