N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

BattleStations nights for this group should be tonight (Thurs), Mon and Tues nights---12 hr overnight drill.  Calls come after 2pm Central the next day (occasionally they can start a little before 2pm or even later....so keep the phones close all day).

HoustonsWife:  Be sure to read the BattleStations discussion above which can provide you with some hints on the order they go in.  Other than that, your SR would have to provide that info to you.  I will be able to post in the morning the divisions I THINK when through....just from the fact I have been following the schedules for almost 6 yrs now.  We are not allowed to post actual division dates before they go through....only when they have finished.

Is there a way to know when a divisions final pfa is specifically?
Comment by diannep on December 3, 2015 at 11:03am

NCNavymom:  Your SRs can update these lists about a week before PIR which would be now for this group....no way to know who is on the list unless you ask your new sailor when he/she calls home with the I'm a Sailor call!  The list will be with the gate personnel.

We are almost to the finish line! Does anyone know when the final guest list are submitted by our SR's and if there is a way to find out who is on it?

 Amanda

Yes we are gojng to the meet and greet.  I have everything for the basket, I  just have to put it together.  Been working on the door poster but I don't have a creative bone in my body so I'm not sure how it will turn out.  I'm still not sure if I'm going to do a center piece.  Sure looking forward to meeting everyone!

If my 906 SR is on track with the boot camp for dummies list, they did the gas chamber today.  Can hardly wait for that I'm a sailor call.
