What a great deal!!
My2kidz Thank you. I just saved 50.00 and got a bigger car!
If you are flying Southwest and renting a car, keep an eye out for an email with discounted rentals. I just got a full sized car for under $13/day with unlimited mileage for PIR weekend.
Hello All~~
"My flesh and my heart may fail;
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:26
Good Afternoon Everyone!
ckb: Your new sailor should have time to call more than one person so my guess is that both you and his parents will get calls!
ckb: Someone in another PIR group recently contacted RTC about people watching the Livestream of the PIR service in the Chapel. We had heard conflicting info. She was told that if your extras are 18 or older, they can go in there. If younger than that, they must be accompanied by someone 18 yrs or older. We had heard that the Chapel was being reserved for overflow from the PIR Hall when there are lots of divisions, but RTC didn't tell this lady this. So my advice would be to go to PIR, hope your name is on the access list so you can get into PIR Hall, and if not, hope to watch from the Chapel. When your SAILOR makes the I'm a Sailor call, can you ask who is on the access list?
Also, who gave you the gate pass password? Your SR?
Hi ckb~
So, guessing you didn't get the letter that first came home with the mailing address of your SR... the password for the gate pass was written on there. Did someone tell it to you? They would be the ones to ask if you're on the access list. It was included in the letter. Sorry, I can't be of more help :-)
Maybe one of the veteran moms will see this and have more advice.
Just a song for today. He's here, He is our Refuge. Emmanuel.
