~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

andimc14ship13 div037.. My SR from same DIV/ SHIP call came early this afternoon..2:30 CST.  My SR did not mention anyone who failed.. not sure why you didn't get a call.. I would assume you would more likely would get a call he did not pass...based on the other  post regarding missed Fitness tests etc.. Hope it works out..Maybe he is going tonight..

Ladies...et al.. I can not thank you enough for all the support your comments  have given me  these last 8 weeks while waiting for the arrival of "the box" until the I AM A SAILOR call today... I know you all feel the same mixed emotions I do.. pride, anticipation and anxious. as they move onto A school. We have a great bunch of dedicated Sailors.. and look forward to celebrating with all of you on Friday!..For all of you who have SR's who hit little bumps in the road. Godspeed to you and your SRs. I know they are well on their way to becoming SAILORS very soon..

Is there anyone who has a SR on ship 13 Div 037 that has not received there I'm a sailor call yet?  Should I be worried if I haven't?  Please help????

Since it sounds like only 037/038 went through last night, hoping that they are doing 2 a night, finishing on Wed night/Thurs morning rather than Tues night/Wed morning.  That way, for those trying to pass their run in the morning (Wed), if they do, they get a chance to do BattleStations that night.  Normally they don't do BattleStations that close to PIR, but since there are no more BattleStations because of no more PIR groups until 01/03, then they may spread it out that way.  Hope so!

SailorGirl:  Not sure who is going through tonight, but I'm a Sailor calls can start as early as 2 pm GL time, but many times start later.  All should have phones close tomorrow afternoon just in case!

carolb24:  So very sorry....when they fail their run this close to PIR, they are put into FIT to keep trying.  Not sure if those in this group will have another chance at BattleStations in order to be at PIR on Friday---like they normally do.  They normally run again tomorrow...and then if they pass, they do BattleStations with the next PIR group (Wed or Thurs night) and are at PIR.  But since this is the last PIR group until 01/03, they won't be having BattleStations.  Unless....they decide to have this group go 2 divisions per night, in which case they will have one on Wed night for the last divisions in this PIR group....I hope that is what they are doing so that those running in the morning have a chance to pass, do BattleStations that night, and be at PIR on Fri.  That happens alot!

If he doesn't pass tomorrow....then he stays in FIT and keeps trying.  Here is a link to the FIT group.  There are ladies on there to help you!

http://navyformoms.com/group/fitprogram

Once he misses his own PIR, he will not have another PIR.  He would pass the run hopefully, then do BattleStations with the next group, and head directly to A School.  Since there won't be any BattleStations next week, he won't be able to go through until shortly after Christmas.

Pray for wings on his feet!

I just received a call from my sr. He wOn't be graduating on 12/13. He didn't pass the run test. Passed it fne two weeks ago though. He said he just stopped running. It was mental.
I need some help here. He gave me a new ship address. Is there any information that might help me to understand? His call was very brief and scripted. He mentioned 1/3/14 pir.

Calblaze I'm very sorry I won't be able to help you with your sr.
