Father, in the coming days, I will need You, but my recruit will need You more!
Let him perform his tasks with a sense of duty, not of anger or vengeance. Let his reflexes be quick and his hands steady. Let his head be clear and his eyes sharp. Let his mind and body be strong and his spirit stronger.
God, please stand by my recruit and watch his back when he cannot!
Father, I love this recruit of mine! Take from me what he needs and give me what he does not.
I will pace the nights, if it means he gets some sleep.
I will deal with fatigue, if it means he will have energy.
I will carry his fear, if it means it gives him courage.
I will take his pain, if it means he is healthy and whole.
I will take his anger, if it means he is at peace.
Take my love and pride and let him feel it!
Let him know that I am with him every step of the way!
Please, take from me what You can; I give it willingly and with love.
It is all I have besides my prayers.
Above all, please help my recruit to achieve his goal of becoming...
A United States Navy Sailor!
This I ask on bended knee, that which I cannot do without YOU!
Good Morning!
cjsmallfry - To accept a Friend Request here on N4M's go up to the top left hand side of any page you are on.
You will see the Status box underneath your Username. Looks like this:
Next to "Friends" instead of "Invite" you should see "(1 Request)" (I think that's what it is it's been awhile. Anyways it should show something other thatn Invite)
Click that and then you will have a new page open that will show any friend requests you have.
Emails from N4M's alert you to activity on the site to groups etc you are following.
N4M's has a private messaging system within itself through Friending members.
When a Friend messages you through N4M's (not personal email) then you will see (1 new) next to the Inbox feature.
Hi FireTeamLeaderWife. I'm sorry but I did not see any attachement on any of the e-mails you sent. I have not yet accepted your friend request yet. I would love to see the info you have for me.... any other suggestions?
cjsmallfry - I sent you a friend request. Have some info for you. PLEASE read the note I attached before accepting, it will disappear into cyberspace after you do LOL.
For some reasons the message that goes along with a friend request does that.
seebeefamily - Looks great :-) Will pray for you!
Thank you Dinannep! Yes his A school is in GL. I went ahead and booked through till Sunday. I am soooo very excited for this event!
seabeefamily,
The link should be posted on your My Page and probably Facebook would be a good place for that too~~
Good Day!
"But above all these things put on Love,
which is the bond of perfection. And let the
peace of God rule in your hearts, to which
also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
Colossians 3:14-15
cjsmallfry: Is your sailor going to be staying in GL for A School? If so, yes, your sailor would have Liberty from Wed after PIR (and moving over there) through Sunday. If flying out, they probably will be flying out Fri or Sat. But smart to stay a bit longer just in case! You don't want to miss any time with your sailor!
