For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My husband Mike and I are staying at the Navy Lodge, as are my parents and *maybe* my grandparents.

Four of us are staying at the Navy Lodge. I can't to see him also. He will be in Charleston SC Don't know if he will be a grad n go yet

I have a son who had his PIR about 2 years ago. They don't get full liberty. You can get them after graduation if they don't have duty but they have to be back by 8:00 p.m. You can then pick them up on Saturday and Sunday morning if they don't have watch during the day but I know they also have to be back on base to "muster" (do roll call) by 8:00 p.m. each night. When we went to visit our son we left on Sunday morning, son said he had stuff he needed to do and we had to drive home for work on Monday. It's about a 13 hours trip. While they are off base they still have to follow all RDC's rules, can't smoke, even if of age can't drink, can't drive and have to wear what they are told to. We went to Six Flags because it is so close, but my son (and every other sailor we saw) had to wear his dress whites and there was a chance of rain so they had to carry their rain coats with them everywhere they went. We are gong to stay at the Comfort Inn, it is only 1 mile from the base on the same road and they also have a shuttle bus. Be advised that you must have a seat belt for every passenger, they check. We had taken along an extra sailor whose family didn't come for graduation and could have taken more but not enough seat belts, we hooked up with some of them at Six Flags. Hope this information was helpful.

I will be staying at Navy lodge with my husband and my daughters husband and hopefully my son if he can get leave he is going to Irag in april so it would be our last time together before he goes there,He has to come from Hawaii Very much interested in N4M dinner the night before too

I'm not sure were to stay.Have to get at least 2 rooms but can't get sams dad to commit if he is getting his own. I hate drama!!!! Any suggestions wold be apriciated. Hope to go up early Thursday, we live in Peoria so we will drive up. If you guys all decide on a when and were I would love to be there.
No letter or call here either. -

We are staying at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. It a few miles further but 2 bedrooms and full kitchen. My husband lives in a hotel during the week so we got this with points.

We got a room at the Quality Inn. Hope Zach is not a grad and go. I may be going with him. Miss him sooooo much. Taking our older son and Zach's girlfriend so we had to get a roll away bed.

My mom, son and I are staying at Candlewood Suites in Lincolnshire...between RTC and the "city". We'll be arriving on Wednesday, the 17th (my birthday!) to do some shopping/site seeing for a few days.

OK, because over and over I heard everyone is staying at the Navy Lodge, I booked a room there - I'm hoping that the one I booked is the one you all are talking about. It seemed directly attached to the actual Navy and I had to give Phillip's info to make the reservation.

There's only one Navy Lodge in the Chicago area, so you should be good to go.
