No letter today. Boo-hoo, sniff, sniff...  I sent questionaires out, haven't seen any back yet. Heard they can now write on Tue & Thurs now also. Does anyone know if they get to actually SEND them after they write, or if they are held & still only hit the postal system on Mondays?

When they come home right after A-school they usually get 10 days leave. They can work with the recruiter for u to 5 of those days and then they are not counted as leave das. That way they are home for 10 but only use 5. They have to have paperwork filled out at their A-school and signed and then have it signed by the recruiter and sent to their next command.

My SR's letter made me tear up.  It was a great letter, thanking me for raising him the way I did, that it takes a special kind of person to go through something like this especially this time of year, and without me developing me into the man he is today, there is no way he would have been equiped  to handle it. <GULP> I think my baby is all grown up!  To Div 079:  He says he will probably be calling on the 31st, so get ready.

I got a letter today!!! He too was sounding upbeat and talked about friends he is making. Finally they are letting them talk more with each other. His is a very small group and the keep bringing in new recruits that were sick and needed placed back into the stream. So a little adjustment period. But all is well. I am writing him back letting him know I made the travel arrangements and we will all be able to make it!!! So excited now.

Got a letter today and he is very upbeat.  Said his division is doing great!  A little bummed with dry sockets after wisdom teeth removal.  Can't wait to see us at graduation!!!!
