kandio, I know what you mean about jumping for joy when the phone rang.  My son bought a laptop immediately after graduation but we had to put that and his phone in the lock&go until he moved over the tracks at GL.  He picked them up this weekend and we got to Skype on Sunday night AND discovered we could 3-way Skype with his dad (who's in Oregon for a job and I'm in Florida), so we were just having a PARTY!!  I couldn't stop grinning!

@ Renick - I guess we ARE the alumni of 2/18/11 lol! I don't think we need to start a new group, because we're already here. Maybe some other moms/wives will find us as time goes on?

Yay, our Sailors made it through boot camp! Thank you all so much.

My ET is on the other side of the RR tracks at TSC awaiting the next step in his Navy adventure.

P.S. Is there an alumni group for 2/18/2011 PIR?  Please send me the name of that group.

Good Morning everyone... Yaa my sailor got her phone an laptop yesterday in afternoon it was so good to hear her voice.. she sounds really good, but down at the same time. She told me she is on hold for like 1 week before she can start school. She also said the ship is run by regular people is this correct. She told me is sooo different, she still is trying to get use to the idea. Well she told me that have not assing a roomate to her and that she hope's school will start soon, she given some classes about sexual harrasement among others. I just hope the best for her and they get everything in order for her soon.
