Thank you alwaysdaddyltlegirl. I agree she has grown so much. Sometimes I miss the little girl also but also proud of what she has and is becoming. She has been going on faith the whole tim during this whole process. Has stressed me but she has kept a great outlook the whole time. Is having a good time from what she is saying and from the tone of her voice. I just hope when she gets the new job and knows where she is going for A school she can call so we know how to make our travel plans. I am not sure if it will happen though. I have already had 2 short 1 minute calls about this whole process. But it would be at least Thursday of next week before we would know if we wait for her letter. Oh well. Just have to adjust. Thanks again guys for your support.

This may sound kinda crazy But.... last fall when my son went to college his little sister(age 8) missed him so much she drew picture of herself and sent it to him called it his flat Chloe....so when we got our package back that he sent we put his coat and pants over the stool in kitchen where he sat to eat and visit shoes under stool whole works had nice picture of him from his hockey years put on top so we have a flat big brother always with us in kitchen even the cat layes on his lap.  It was hard at first I always did a double take an I offen hear his sisters telling their flat brother goodbye when they leave for school...kinda crazy but works for us...we MISS him TONS!!!!!!!

lol DebBee, I found a card that has a hand on the front, says move this back and forth real fast, on the inside it says "That's me waving at you",   took and drew little hands all the way around the writing paper and put "Thats the family waving at you"

I thought about cleaning up after him but couldn't do it. I just a week ago hung up his jacket off the kitchen chair. I have missed my boy today!!!

OMG less then a month to go!!!!!!!  I can't wait

I just learned that the loan has to be in you SR's name or at least cosigned by them to qualify. Most of our accounts are in my name, because I had them before we were married and just added him on after, but apparently NONE of those accounts qualify (even though he uses them.) Bummer. I hope others have better luck. On a brighter note, less than a month to go! Wahooooo!

I just discovered something that you all may or may not already know so I want to share. The SSCRA (Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act) prohibits any company from charging more than 6.0% interest on debt accrued before going on Active Duty. It might be a good idea to call credit card companies, car loan companies, student loans, etc and ask that they comply with this law.

I hope this information helps someone. I know I will be calling the student loan company today to ask for this lower rate.
