Annie SHip 03/84 My son too is @ Corry Station waiting for CTN school to begin.I guess the word is that CTN school is a hard school----He sounds a bit nervous but we told him he will get through it fine---they screen everyone who qualifies for it and if he was not capable he would not be in the class!  I am sure that with recruits coming right out of bootcamp the more senior guys try and "shake up" the fresh recruits coming on board for school too-------Other then that he is waiting for his phone and lap top and school to He says the weather is real warm and the barracks good.

Thanks usapaula, yes he went to his own Dr. Yesterday and they took new xrays. Turns out that he has five breaks. Two of the three ribs broken broke twice. He is having a tough time. Thank you for the offer to take ours to a movie...he was excited about going when we left. It was really helping him, and us, knowing he had plans for the day. He was also sad to see him go. I hope they will stay in touch. It sounds like Pensecola is a nice place to be! Mine will remain in Gl for a school. We will go back when the ice melts! Please stay in touch and tell your sailor to take care!

Mountain Mama yes they will mail all the pictures an dvd to your house. I did the same for my Sailor when we last spoke I told her to take the pictures but I would pay for them on PIR which we did.

I am under the impression that it gets mailed to your house.  At least that is what I am expecting along with the year book.

Hey, I saw on my son's picture receipt where he ordered the DVD.  Will they mail that to us or were we supposed to pick it up after PIR?

I'm getting the hang of this web site, finally, better late than never.  I was Jill, now I'm Jill64 (Ship03/Div081) at least for now and I also changed my picture.  Oh,well.

I finally got a phone call and an address from my sailor in San Antonio. He sounds great and he really likes it. I'm heading out to the PO to send him his phone and hopefully we can start having some regular contact!
