Back home after an amazing weekend!! Graduation and spending time with my son was just awesome!!!! Saying goodbye was very difficult, but knowing how happy my son is made it easier. Now on to the next phase of our lives. Looking forward to visiting him in Pensacola where it is warmer. Take care all you Navy Moms, and thanks for all the support and advise. You made everything so much easier. I miss going on this site and sharing all your excitement about graduation and seeing our Sailors. Hugs to all!!

I am finally home! Just 15 minutes shy of 24 hours since I started my journey home! But I'd do it all again to see my boy. It was definitely worth it. He leaves in a few hours to San Antonio.

My heart is in Chicago too Daddys Girl. It was hard to say goodbye. I'm feeling on the brink of tears at any moment. So proud of all of our Sailors and I wouldn't change a thing but I'm feeling very emotional.

WOW what a wonderful weekend, so happy to see my son but so hard to say good-bye again.  But we were so lucky to get that extra day with him, he stays in GL for school so hopefully we can make another trek down there soon.  We left GL at 5:30 last night for 5 hour drive home to northwest WI  took 8 1/2 hours snowy slippery roads YIKES!! but we made it!!! So proud of all those young men and women, they are outstanding!
