For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Got 2 letters today!!!!! I'm SOOOO HAPPY!!! He sounds good and he misses me alot. :D He says they march in about 2 feet of snow every other day. Poor baby.
I miss him so much!

Received 2 letters today from our son. So excited!!! He is doing well, meeting lots of great guys from all over the great country. Says it's a little harder then he was expecting...but he loves it. Has met a great new friend who is in the rack right across from his..gave me his name, which I wont post, but wanted me to try and find his Mom so we could meet at graduation...this boy is from Beach Grove, Indiana and N4M out there from there? Just so excited...finally a few words letting me know how he's doing. Can't even explain how thrilled I am.!!

I got two letters from my brother today :) one dated 12/31 and one dated 1/2 (in separate envelopes). He sounds great! He said he is making some good friends and thinks they will all be super close by the time they are done with boot camp. He also said their next phone call will probably be 1/11 for those of you with loved ones in his division (Ship:09 Div: 077). He just made my day!!!!!
