Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I just made hotel reservations! I'm holding off on the flight reservations until closer to PIR. I can change the hotel dates without a problem. Anyway, I feel so excited just to have booked the hotel. One more little baby step to seeing my sailor!

Arwen- first of all happy holidays to you and yours. My daughter is in one of the higher divisions and wondering why they would not go right away to A school. I think you said that the higher divisions would be waiting for orders. can you provide more insight into how this works.She is in division 085. thanks so much.

Kathyf....thank you , you are reading my mind....yes I will leave on the 17th...and I will be there on time , even if I have to ski.....the weather is a concern....Florida is a nice place to live , we forget how cold it gets anywhere else... Whats your sons division?

OH my my.....that is going to be funny.....last time i drived on ice we were stationed at Dyess AFB, Tx,....and he was about 4 yrs old...my car was just dancing all over the road.........this is a book to be continue....cant wait to see our saylors faces.....!!!! :).
