Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just finished talking to my son!!! Hes a Sailor...he said everyone in his DIV passed..He sounded very happy and tired...also said he cant wait to see us!! im so happy!!

Julie067~I think your daughter and my son were using the same phone. His dad couldn't hear him very well. Oh if there was candy I am sure my son was RIGHT there!!! He can't wait for PIR and seeing everyone. Wishes it was NOW! Did however say the RDC's were being "Tough" on them more so now than before. I think they want them to know they are still in charge!
Glad everyone is getting calls it was tough hanging on but we did it!!!

We are in the hotel room at the airport--ready to fly out tomorrow for Great Lakes for PIR!! Soooooo excited ! Look forward to meeting you all at the Meet and Great @ the Ramada----GO NAVY!

Yea!!!! I got my call. We are talking right now. His dad is here and we have him on speaker phone. He is talking about how much fun BS was. Yes, they all are eating candy.  He can talk for 45 min. He sounds great!!! Tired. The capping ceremony was emotional he says. He says everyone graduating has liberty on Monday due to the holiday. I will add more when we hang up

got the call!!!! she sounded tired but relieved. She sounds strong...over 100 push ups in 2 minutes. Geez....guess she built some muscle. i am going home to celebrate!!! congrats to all of us for raising such good kids.
