He is Div 77 and, no, I don't know anyone else.  I did ask my recruit to see if any of his friend's families would take a picture and then, maybe, he could get it off Facebook.  I'm hoping.

@kathleen - do you have a friend in that Div who get a pic for you? I would be happy to try if you don't have someone in your Div. Just send me a personal message

navymom 74: My son said he would be calling today at 4:00 (their time) I'm afraid to leave the house in case that changes. When are you leaving for GL and where will you be staying?? I am a bundle of nerves waiting for the call. Good Luck to everyone waiting for the call, and Hugs to all!!!!!

We are no longer going to PIR.  Our recruit is flying out early Sat. morning to his A School and we live about 10 hours closer to that location.  He has asked us to go there instead of Great Lakes.  So, as much as I really don't want to miss PIR, I want to be able to spend more time with him instead.

diannep: I am staying at the Quality Inn and was planning on taking the "hotel shuttle" that is suppose to leave the hotel at 7am. Do you think it would be better to go by cab to be there earlier?? I was hoping to get one of the seats at the top row due to my bad back. Thanks for all your advise!!

For you moms who had to wait till last, I feel for you.  But...the wait is almost over!  I hope your calls come early, and last long!  Only a couple more days and we'll be holding our new sailors in our arms!!

Good morning everyone!!! Im so excited..already waiting on my call!!!

The top row seats go fast....these are the ones where you have the concrete wall to lean back on....nice that no one is behind you....but we arrived at the hall by 7 a.m....and ours were already taken on that row in our division section.  And our group was just a just a bit over half the size of this one....so remember...early!  They don't let anyone through the gates before 6:30, however.  A 6:15 or 6:30 shuttle would be perfect....if you are driving, you should be in the car line by 6, maybe even earlier?  The 2/11 group had over 1,000 sailors and their group was the same size as yours, I believe.
