Hi ALL --so glad to see that some of us are still on this site! My son is at Pensacola CTN school until Sep. He is REALLY busy with the difficult schedual that this school demands. I do get to talk with him at least once a week and that is great, I can't wait to see him when he finishs school and before the next duty station.
I love the phone calls but I also miss the letters that we all got when they were in boot camp. Those were and are very sepcial to me-------
Happy Easter!!
It seems like yesterday, when we were all counting down for Graduation date 02-18-2011...we have been thrue a lot since that date. My sailor, just "Drill out" yesterday, he keeps in touch with his Shipmates from Gl....he is going to apply for Leave, so he can come home....so proud of this team of 02-18!!! A lot of us built relationships for life and im so happy for it...I really hope we all stay in contact and keep posting about the progress of our sailors and us.
Miss you all, tons of hugs,
maria M

Congrats Mountain Mama! Hope you have a great time with your MAA! My sailor (guardsman) is applying for leave to come home next month. I hope he gets the approval......Will keep everyone posted.
@ Shannon Congrats to your sailor as well!
Have a wonderful Easter everyone!
Yeah! I pick my sailor up from the airport tomorrow night! I get him for two whole weeks, and then I get to drive him to his duty station in South Carolina. Yes, I am excited!
I was cleaning his room today and I found notebook paper where he had written out each one of his general orders 100x before leaving for bootcamp. It's only been four and a half months, but it feels like four and a half years since he's been home. What a journey this has been ladies. I couldn't have done it without all of you!
