Clays Girl....I've said it before...but I'll say it again.  You are so adoreable and supportive of your "Navy Man".  I get such a kick out of you.  Also, very sweet of you in your last post that you are just as concerned about his folks having to stand for a long period of time in line.  I suppose all us Navy Moms would be so lucky as to get a daughter in law such as yourself.  I'm not sucking up....I'm just saying...

CCity.....I know what you mean.....When I wrote my last letter to my son today it felt like our only connection to one another had been taken:( But I do believe the mail is somewhat backed up so they won't feel like they have been neglected.....from what I understand they are & will be too busy to notice.

I can't wait to meet everyone next week........thanks for being there through the rough spots:))))

We went to PIR on 3/4 and arrived in the hall at 7:04 and it was half full already,  We only had 7 divisions.  By all means if shuttle is available take it!  It is soooo worth the price.

Also, while waiting on your calls from B/S keep in mind they may have watches and may not make their calls till sometimes even the next day.  Alot of our calls came late into the evening hours too.  Seems every week is different but that was our experience.

Congratulations, you are almost there!  have a great time at PIR and enjoy every single second you get, it goes by very quickly.

I just mailed out my last letter too! It feels like I'm failing him by not writing. but it sounds like the mail is pretty backed up.I just got another letter from him and it sounds like he hasn't gotten the letter I wrote to him on the 13th yet. So they probably will still get the other letters we wrote to them for the rest of the time.

ThShuttle sounds like a great idea. I will have to ask tho because I'm going to have my baby with me. Im going to take have him in a baby carrier infront of me instead of in the car seat because the car seat gets really heavy. So I don't know if the hotel would be able to hold onto the car seat for me. I will have to call and find out. Thanks for the heads up!

CCity:  I would plan to leave between 6:30 and 7.  If driving rather than taking shuttle, may want to leave a bit earlier.  Shuttle passes the car line and gets you right in.  Be sure to sign up for your shuttle when you check in (if your hotel does it that way...Residence Inn did).  Shuttles are actually taxis that are used for this purpose...and charge $3/pp each way....sailor may come back free on most shuttles.
