If anyone has a problem downloading the gate pass, you may need to download google chrome or mozilla firefox.  This usually solves the problem.  Printing the gate passes is another step closer to PIR!  HOOYAH!

You can print as many as you like...I had one in my purse (took shuttle so didn't need it), in my suitcase, and put another in our rental car.  Can't be too careful!

Quiltblue...Thanks for reminding us that those who might have room can offer to take an extra Sailor or more to dinner & or site seeing after the PIR ceremony. Wow, I am so excited to be planning last minute details:)

Don't forget...you can go online to download your parking pass:)

I just printed mine off....so it's posted for PIR 4/01/11

My husband works with someone who used to live in GL... he gave him a list of restaurants today. Not necessarily the "most common" to go to. Nicely priced. As soon as he gives it to me when he gets home I will post them.  Remember to ask your recruit to look for one or two that doesn't have family coming. Have them add you/family to their personal list... then they can join you for dinner or sightseeing! We would be honored to take three Sailors out on their first LIBERTY!

just think two years from now we will still be involved somewhat with each other... praying for our kids for sure out in this big old world "Saving the Day".  I am so very proud of them all, now I need a hug! Can't wait to meet everybody!  I read on someone's post that they returned to RTC two hours before their sailor needed to return and just hung out at Ricky Heaven and the NEX and met with some of the others that graduated.... I am going to recommend to my SAILOR that we do that! So many of your kids/boy-friends/husbands need my hugs! HooYah!

Lee Ann.......You bet .........We will definitely keep thisgroup page open & I will add the title change the day we get back from PIR....I have been so blessed to be apart of this wonderful group of women:)) I think Claysgirl said it best ..there truly is a bond that forms when you go through such a life changing experience.as this. We learn from each other & the veteran moms that have gone before us .how best to support our sailors & also continue to encourage one another as we experience the challenging & joyful times ahead.

I look forward to meeting everyone of you:)))) We are so close now:)))

Congrats to you all & your soon to be Sailors..........

Lee Ann.......The scarves are great:)) I know that must have been fun making those with your sister.......

Claysgirl.......the bows are awesome, too.  I may need to order one for my granddaughter......I wish I had thought of doing something creative with all this nervous energy over the past few months....lol.
