And the Captains cup pics from last summer were from the July 23rd PIR group. That was my Sailors group and I was lucky enough to get a picture of her from it. I must say it made not only my day but my whole week :-)

You know what they should do at Bootcamp. They should have a new job in every division of DIV Photographer, it would be that persons job to take pics throughout different parts of bootcamp and post them for all of us to see :-) lol. I think it is a great idea. Or maybe a Mom could be the photographer. One mom for every division, kind of like a den mother. I know lots and lots of applicants lol.

Clay's girl- that is how I started making ribbons. I bought all this stuff to make my own (it is very expensive to make them just for yourself) and then I had so much left over that I asked my friends in my PIR group if they would like some and well, as they say, the rest is history :-)

Rossie??? hummmm

No problem, LaLa.  I saw you weren't on so I just send them your way when I see the questions.  Glad she found you!

MK:  Thanks for pointing out that the 3/4 group's Captains Cup photos are posted on RTC's FB.  They normally don't do that, and I see from scrolling through the piks that the last time they had posted Captains Cup piks was last summer.  So great that they have posted some to give all of the N4Ms a peek into what they do during Captains Cup.

By the way, ladies...this is a fun athletic event between all of the divisions in your PIR group...and a welcome "break" for all from their training.  Some may already be sailors when they participate in this; others still have to go through BattleStations.  But they are truly excited about this event!  This PIR group's will be next Saturday.  It is always the Sat. before a Fri PIR.

Clay's girl in less than two weeks we will see them... less than one week to our next phone call for our divisions 115/116!!  How excited I am!

We made our ribbons. It probably woulda been easier to order them lol BUT my mother in law is really crafty and we had fun making them. It felt like we were doing something FOR him. Like therapy :) By the way ladies and gentleman... We will officially be seeing our SAILORS NEXT WEEK!!!!!!! Ahhhh I may burst from excitement!!!

Captains Cup is a friendly challenge between divisions, it takes place the Saturday before PIR, so your will be 3/26.  If you are on facebook, go to the Recruit Training Command page and if you browse through their photos, you will see pictures taken of the 3/4 PIR group doing CC.  There are also photos of the 3/4 group at the end of battlestations.

Have you all ordered ribbons to wear to graduation from Lala PIR Ribbon Queen?  They are a great way to recognize each other at the meet and greet. to honor your SR at the ceremony and also to help find them when the ceremony is over.  Its not too late and she does amazing work.  Friend request her and she can hook you up.
