Lets all say a prayer for the boys who are making the news today. These are boys of moms who have been in our shoes and who are putting to use everything they have been trained to do. Lets wish them the best while they are in harm's way...

It is getting closer to your PIR.  I would recommend that you join the group for where your sailor will be going to A school and what they will be doing to meet others on your path.  Before you know it you will be traveling and the weekend will go by so fast, but you will have made some wonderful memories.

mnintel- It is so good to see you here. I am so happy for your daughter and very proud of her for sticking it out. I know it has been a challenge for both of you to have this set back but years from now I am sure you will both look back and think ahh it was just 3 weeks, no big deal. It's funny how 3 weeks can seem so so long now and later, not so much. Tell her I said Bravo Zulu :-)

If anyone sees someone new please let me know, I have created spreadsheets for each group and will give the new members all the easy links to get started. Hahaha... I feel like I have been doing this for longer than I really have, but it is so much fun to help!  HooYah! Praying that no more of our SRs get injured and have to be held back.  Congrats to all of us!

My daughter just joined Div 119 after being in medical the past three weeks for two stress fractures (originally division 93 PIR 3-11).  I spoke to her on Thursday and she is doing great, such a relief after a VERY stressful month.  She told me that they will be going through the gas chamber on Tuesday, final PSA on Wednesday and Battlestations next Sunday (March 27).  She said that the girls in her new division have been very welcoming which I was very happy to hear. I will be so happy when this journey is over, I am a mess every time the phone rings!
