Lala:  I have no idea about LockandGo.  There is just a place to email them when you go to their website.  But they definitely are not renting lockers anymore in GL.  Very sad...

CCity:  No, 806 would not have done BattleStations yet.  But they possibly could go on Thurs night, and if not then, the following week early on.  Please be asking your SR if you get a call before then and post the date on here.  I have a schedule started in the BattleStations discussion group up top (hit VIEW ALL to find it).

My husband is in Divison 806 and I was wondering if anyone else who has a family member or other half in the same divison has heard anything about if they have taken their battle station test yet?

Monica---your Sailor will  be the only one to tell you if he can come home after Aschool. Everyone goes in different directions after BC, all across the nation to train for different rates (jobs) Some have only four weeks of Aschooling, and others have up to a year of it. My son is in Groton at the Submarine School. He has 2 months of Sub School, then 1 month of more schooling, and then another month of MORE schooling, THEN...he starts his actual Aschooling...lol I just found out a few days ago, that he MAY be able to come home and visit after his 3rd school and before his Aschool. The majority do get some leave after Aschool, but it differs depending on their job and if they need them right away.

After they leave BC and go to their Aschool, it is a lot more relaxed. Its similar to college. You will be able to talk to him everyday, text him, FB him, and even visit him. My sons GF has already visited him at school last weekend, and is planning to go with us to his Sub School graduation. Dont forget...he will be graduating from Aschool also, and you will see him then

Diannep- I wonder what happened at the Lock and Go. I heard so many great comments about them and how supportive they are of military families. I hope their business is okay.

Only 12 more days!! Thats amazing!! 12 more days and you will all be able to see your SAILORS!!

I see that you all have been exchanging phone #'s and i wanted to add, that if you have laptops..it will be a good idea to take them.. It is a great way to keep in touch and see what questions are being posted by others. In my experience... i saw a lot of people posting on there over PIR about needing rides to the airport at particular times, or wanting to know if someone wanted to share a cab ,etc...everyone was very respectful  and helpful towards each other.

I stayed at the Ramada and they offered free internet access, we just had to agree to the terms and wait a few minutes and it was up and running...

ochaos:  Unfortunately, The Lock and Go in Great Lakes is no longer renting lockers.  I went to their website (www.thelockandgo.com) and they mentioned that due to circumstances beyond their control, they can no longer rent lockers.  So it looks like those staying for A School in Great Lakes...who don't report over there until mid week the following week....when family and friends may have returned home...will have to have their things mailed to them once they are settled in at A School.
