Whoo hoo!  2 letters yesterday and she sounds great!  I don't know what happened to the teenager who left here what?  7 weeks ago??  but, what a change!!  a very good change!!  She went to Ash Wed. service, they gave her a bible she has been reading, and she has been attending church services (nice to know they have them!) What more can a mother ask for!!!  :-)  I am so proud of all of our families!!  Can't wait to meet you all!!  Have a great day!!

Sorry Lala Ribbon and thank you. I just noticed you posted almost the same just I forgot the all important retroactive Pay!!!!
Comment by joannesailorswow on March 16, 2011 at 10:16pm
It consists of 10 part's that range from Navy Core Values all the way to terminology, Navy time and rank and recognition. You have to get each section signed off by your recruiter. Then when you get to bootcamp you will be givin a test on everything from the PQS and if you pass that and your very FIRST physical fitness test at bootcamp you will be advanced to E-2.

Thanks so much soccermom. That was very kind of you :-)

If you successfully complete the DEP GUIDE PQS, pass a written test at Recruit Training Command (RTC), and pass PT-Baseline with a SAT-MED will be advanced to E2 effective from their Active Duty Service Date. Meaning that he will finish bootcamp as an E-2 and his pay will be retroactive to the day he left for bootcamp..
