Another day goes by with no letter or phone call. I really just want to know that he is doing okay. If I don't hear from him soon I am going to go crazy. I sure hope I hear something this week.

Hi Crush1954, my husband is currently a Col. in the Air Force, do you know if we would be able to get a room in the visitor's quarters on base? How do you go about getting accomodations and who can do this? Please advise.

The good thing is that it is only about 3 hours from where we live. He is supposed to have about a year of school so it is good that he won't be so far away.

Big Mike's mom: I used to live in Groton, CT when my father was stationed there. It is a nice town and your son should enjoy it there.

My son is USS Marvin Shields as well, but Division 158. You are welcome to join the rest of us ..... waiting, wondering, praying, and supporting each other. I cannot wait to meet all of you at the Ramada for graduation. But we have a ways to go yet and our recruits are probably doing fine even though it is hard, but the Navy is making men of our boys!

I called PAO this morning for Div 162 and he did not know if they were a Grad N Go, he said to call back about week 6 or 7.
