*Kricia-Is your hubby a MM (Machinist's Mate)?

MK:  That is because they take Navy expenses out of the early checks...for the uniforms, etc.  That is most likely why the first ones were smaller.

*Lala-I just was reading about the Ombudsman, too how funny! Yeah I am going to go that route and see what happens. I won't tell her lol. I feel like this adventure has already started lol. Thanks for all your help....well trying anyways. Have a great day!!

Megs- I would try reaching the ombudsman for the base he will be at for A-school. That person should be able to at least tell you where to find answers to your questions. And so sorry I called your little girl a "him" lol, shhhh, don't tell her lol. And oh my goodness Good Luck for sure. You are going to have such an awesome adventure.

*Lala-Lol it's a lot of questions. She's in school, but we won't wait. Yeah the recruiter said that we can go with him because it exceeds the aloud time. I have been all over this site looking for answers lol. Wish me luck :-)

Wow, I wish I knew the answers for you megs. Is your 6 yr old in school? Will you be waiting for him to finish school before moving? I have heard that A-school has to last a certain amount of time (like maybe 6 months or longer) before they will move you to be with your husband. But don't quote me on that. I am sure someone can point you in the right direction to get answers. Have you posted your questions in the Wives group? They may have more info than I do.

lbmom- why are you laughing? I really want to go on that cruise with you :-) I have never been on a cruise but I would love to give it a try. My birthday is only 3 weeks away, hint hint..... lmao sorry i made your stomach hurt. :-)

My husband will grad boot on 4/22. We will be moving to SC-we have a 6 yr. old. I wanted to know if I need to take care of anything for the move? Make phone calls and such? He will fly there after boot and I believe take classes also have a housing brief then fly hm (IL) not sure how long later get our stuff and move us there. I have been reading SO much info, but does this stuff apply to the first move from boot? S.O.S. LADIES :-)

Proud Mom...my son is going to San Antonio for A school. What about your loved ones?  He has been making so many friends in his division that I am hoping some of his friends are telling him his mom, spouse or girlfriend is on the navy for mom site.

MK...I was just wondering if you were on this site then and saw that other's were already getting their deposits?  My son's money has not come yet either, but many others have.  I mean, he may have had to open a Navy Federal account, but maybe not.  Hopefully, his next letter will tell me something.
