Welcome back Freebird, don't worry, sometimes we all may need a break from one thing or another. No harm done. I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. I would like to thank you all for the prayers for my mom. She was able to come home from the hospital yesterday and is feeling much better than a week ago. We took the off from home, cleaning, laundry and yes, the computer and took the kids (teens) to the zoo. It was a very nice warm and sunny 70 degrees and we had a great time. Looks like tomorrow is going to be just as beautiful :-)

sailormom:  Not to worry....Courtyard DOES have the shuttle (you were given back info).  Call them back another time...sometimes the front desk agents just don't know!  The PIR shuttles are actually taxis...they call them and book them according to the number of people needing them.  So do call the hotel back...try to get a different shift/different agent.  Someone else on another group said the same thing as you...for the Springhill Suites (also Marriott).  I told her that they DO have a shuttle...to call back.  She did, got another agent, and waLA!  They do book the taxi shuttles.  So call again!  By the way, a friend of mine stayed at Courtyard for her son's PIR, before my son was in the Navy, and she is the one who told me to take the shuttle so I know they have it.

Booked at Marriott Courtyard.  Now how do I book a shuttle to get to and from PIR?  Any ideas?  The hotel doesn't offer it as a service.
