Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

i received my first letter yesterday!.. was very excited:)... he asked me to write to him PLEASE and i have already sent 4 letters... hopefully he has gotten them by now (that was on 3/6).. i know it takes awhile... hopefully he gets to call this weekend... anyone elses son or daughters ship 9 div139? and if so have you made your reservations yet for graduation and where?

Faye don't be sad I'm sure you'll hear something soon!  They are not sleeping much and have little time to write.  I wonder if they know each other, that's silly, I'm sure they do.  Keep me posted.  :)

They receive mail every day except Sundays and the write on Sundays and put it in the box to be mailed on Monday.

Do they receive mail everyday?...or do they just receive our mail on Sundays?? Or is it that they can only write letters on Sundays...? Just curious!

Is there anyone else that is in Ship 03 Div 146?  My son left three weeks ago and it is just starting to sink in.  We received a letter yesterday, so that was good.

Got my letter (in Northern NJ)! Div 923 is already prepping for graduation. My boyfriend's only complaint is about sleeping on the top bunk. Ha.
