Congrats to everyone who has a new sailor!  I can't wait until Frrday!  Thank you to all of the veterans -  Janlee, diannep, jessicab, Lala, and anyone I missed - for all of your words of wisdom and encouragement.  I rarely get on Facebook, but I have been on this website every night since my Sailor left.  I could not have done it without everyone who posts on this website!  Looking forward to meeting all of you on Thirsday & Friday.  Safe travels everyone!

Jenacfs:  The social security card for your 4 yr old should be fine.  But to make sure, ask on RTC FB.

You all are very welcome to any help we veterans were able to give.  We all give our time on this site because we enjoy helping you!  It hasn't been that long since we were all in your position.

Enjoy PIR because it is an experience like no other!  Congrats to all of the new sailors!  And still praying for those who aren't quite there yet...but will get there soon after passing their PFA!

K&D'sMom:  Yes, those doing BattleStations the night before PIR will get liberty.  They probably will need to sleep for a couple of hours at the beginning of their liberty since they have been up all night though.  As far as sitting with them during PIR, since they are in the balcony...when we were there, we saw sailors sitting up in the balcony at the ends of the Hall...separate from families.  Did you ask on RTC FB if they can sit with family if not marching at PIR?
