HI

My son stayed in GL for A school. He just finisned INDOC and will be starting school on Monday. He is adjusting to school life. He has three other roommates and they are at different stages. Its hard finding another group than you guys. Miss you all kind of nice seeing you make comments in there. Take care.

It's hard to believe it has only been a little over a week since PIR.  My sailor is in Charleston SC for nuke school.  Even though it is very humid, he still likes it better that GL.  He said that A school classes start this week for him.  Their rooms are like college dorms - 2 to a room and a bathroom for every 2 rooms.  Not too bad...

Same momcarla! It seems most of my N4M's time is spent in the P'cola groups. My sailor, Michael, is at P'cola for IT ATF A school. He has 2 roommates and three other guys are their "suitemates" Out of the six guys, 5 are from Division 144. SO happy he knew a lot of the guys. Their names are: Kersaint, Morgan, Long, Brown, ...And I honestly cannot remember the other 1 :( Sorry, guy. Anyways, do any of you know those sailors? Michael said the past few days have been intro classes - financial planning, sexual harassment, do and don'ts on base, etc. He is loving the weather! Apparently, they grilled out yesterday?? Wow. totally different than BC. :D

Hope everyone and their sailor is well!!!

Hope everyone is doing well, it seems as if this past week has flown by. Would love to hear how everyone's sailors are doing.

we didn't make it to the meet and greet! We got to our rooms and were so exhausted that we all just fell asleep...everyone woke up about 7:30...so we ordered Pizza! I was sorry to miss it, but apparently sleep was the priority!

PIR was awesome, Sailor thin but motivated and very positive. Sarge (taxi driver) was so helpful. Without his guidance our trip would not have been near as good. And navy Lodge and their staff is great!  meet n greet was fun but seemed like I felt so emotional.
