The best thing to do is have your sailor meet you at the gate or in the USO. You don't need a gate pass at Ohare to get into the USO. Once they are dropped off at the airport they don't really have someone telling them what to do. So just tell them what time you will be there and have them meet you at the gate for their airline. When I was there the Sailors were everywhere; it was like they were coming out of the woodwork lol.

So, diannap - What if we get their after our sailor and he is already by the gate? Will they still let us back or our sailor will have to come back?
Comment by diannep on April 18, 2011 at 8:16am
Make sure to take your ID with you to the airport to get your gate passes to wait with your departing sailors, and have your sailors with you.  Chicago is great with that....they really embrace their sailors so I don't think any should have trouble, but the ID is a must!

Yes, you can to go to the aiport and ask for a gate pass to sit with your Sailors until they leave.

I am praying for all the BS21 divisions tonight and cant wait to see all the post tomorrow.
