Thank you everyone. I've just been a mess. Trying to stay positive though. It sounds like everyone there for him is very encouraging and the RDC WANT them to pass. That thought will get me through. It certainly is true though.. NO news is GOOD news. I hate to say this, but I DON'T want to hear his voice Wednesday.. I'm fine with waiting til Monday afternoon for the Sailor call!!

@Mirror and gg - My SR is 24, so his minimum time was 13:15, starting at 25, they get 30 extra seconds, 13:45. Here's a link with the info.

Hi to all of you,

this is down to the wire for all of us. We will get through this even if it does kill us LOL

Congrats on all the rewards and passing of test and letters and calls. So far I have not had any calls from my SR and his last letter was short and sweet just thinking he is studying to get through these final weeks. We are going to be lighting this page up with the Im a Sailor calls starting on Friday and into the next week. Good Luck to all the divisions!!!

Annamichael- I will pray also. It kills us as much as it does them. And I know they will work with him so that he will pass it the next go around.

I know the run time and everything else is different for different age groups..

@anna- I will definitely pray for you SR! Good luck to him on Wednesday, he'll do great!

Ok, a question here, My son will have A school in GL. So when he calls us to come back and get him are we going to the A school gate to pick him up and again Saturday morning too.

LaLa, I received my ribbons today and they are beautiful. Thank you so much and I know your love poured into them. You did a great job on them and my husband and I will wear them proudly. Thank you so much.

So, is run time the same for everyone? My SR passed one of his PFAs with a run time of 13:24...does that change?

@annamichael- I will definitely pray for him...I know that is rough on you and him!

Annamichael - I will pray for you and your SR,  but I'm sure he will ace his PFA on Wednesday.  I don't know about you, but I am SO ready for this roller coaster ride to be over.  Just when you think everything is going good, something else happens and throws a wrench in!

annamichael---i will keep my fingers crossed. Oh brother...ONE second!!! My son didnt pass his push-ups because of 1 push-up,,,and i thought he was kidding...lol!

I gues they mean business in there.

The RDC's do everything they can to help them pass. So do the other recruits. Im sure he will do fine. I hope he gets to re-do it quickly, so he doesnt stress over it...keep us posted..:))

Hey everyone.. I got a call today from my SR. He said they had their PFA today and he failed. :\ 1.5 mile should be 13.15 minutes.. He did it in 13.16. :( Can you believe that?? He gets to make it up Wednesday. His last chance. Please everyone, send him good thoughts and prayers. He sounded really down. I'm crossing my fingers and toes - 1. that he'll pass and 2. his spirits get better. I told him I was so proud of him and that he could do it. I hope things get easier. :\
