Hi ladies, I live only an hour from Great Lakes and the weather has been in the 50s, due to be in the 60s a few days. This time of the year, especially around Easter it sometimes rains.  We are now in light jacket/sweatshirt weather.  So in case there is rain in the forecast, bring an umbrella.

J's mom, what base is your SR going to? My sailor was at NAS Pensacola, she was allowed to have her phone right away. I haven't heard of any that can't have their phones but it could be different for each base or rate. I would think if they have it with them and can't have it yet they would just have to lock it up. Now they will tell them at RTC that they can't have them at the new base when they really can. Each base and Rate rules can be so different. If he is going to Corry Station I have no idea but if he is going to NAS then I would say he can have the phone.

Today is the big PFA for my son. Please let his leg be ok and may he ace the thing.  I think being held back would crush him. Good luck to all the moms, dads, brothers, and sisters. Have a great weekend.
