Juli, have you spoken to your son since he arrived? Our provider is Verizon and the reception is HORRIBLE for us. We may have to stick to texting. Scarlett said she would call from the store tonight where there is better reception.

Willie, that was cool. I got to see my daughter sort of.

Juli, it's that funny we didn't meet at the airport, as we were both there all day. Was Donovan on the last plane out or did he take an earlier flight? Scarlett flew out on Delta at 3:52, after several delays and they said it was the last plane going to Atlanta that day.
It was almost like having the weekend with them. LOL.

All sub moms, before we flew home yesterday, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and toured the sub U505. I know it's a very old sub and they are bigger these days, but Kudos and Salutations to anyone willing to live on one of those. You better really like your mates. It did seem like it would be rather exciting too.
Illinois has so much character. I love the homes in the suburbs (so much open land) and enjoyed exploring the Loop downtown. Southern CA is very dull by comparison. You can't beat our weather though.
The Residence Inn was very nice. We had a suite and it made for a very comfortable stay. They provide breakfast and we even got dinner on Thursday night when we checked in. The beds were a bit too soft though.
