My daughter ask her dad to wear his old uniform. She said that they are asking all personal that was in the military to wear there uniform. I thought that was sweet. He had to try it on to see if it still fit last night. It did. He is bring it but not sure if he will wear it.

Muttjeff, I am so sorry that Sara's PIR date changed and you have to wait so long to see her. I'm sure that they want to make sure she is 100% before she goes back.

167/168 families- Stay Busy this morning. Time will pass (somewhat) more quickly.

baseballelmo: They will have sailors waiting in the parking lot and around the base with wheelchairs. They will take your mother in law all the way into the graduation hangar.

baseballelmo, No problem dear. They have wheelchairs and they have seats right up front of your Div. so she won't have to sit on the hard bleacher sheets plus you sit close to her. Let any Sailor you see in the parking lot and I am sure they will hook you up. In front of each Div. flag stands two honor Sailors with chairs just for anyone who needs them. They take good care of the family's.

Ladies, Don't forget to bring cash to the PIR they have drinks and snacks plus they sale the white Navy hats. Our PIR group all wore ours. We were so cute:)

My son told me that he would actually have the pictures as of this past Monday. So, I am assuming that they are all paid for by our Sailors.

All of you be careful in your travels. To those of you who can't go, you are in our prayers and thoughts and we will do our best to encourage your Sailors.
Hoping that ALL of you enjoy this time with your sons/daughters/ husbands/ grandkids..etc...That it's a wonderful weekend and that you all have safe travels and that you come home with a huge smile on your face!! God bless!

I am sure the charge they took out is for the pictures etc. I put money back in his account to pay for them. You can get two different types of PIR group pictures in the NEX, If I remember they were $8 each. Also you can get a Navy ring ordered at the NEX. Great payment plans.

Juli and all, I am excited for you all. I am going to hang out for the day to wait for THE calls.

Good Morning Ladies, Good Luck to Div. 167/168. All are in my thoughts tonight.

Margaret, Bring your cell also. My first picture of my son was on my cell phone and then I sent it out to everyone in my phone list to show off my Sailor!!! It is also the first thing I see when my phone rings so I always remember that day. It makes me smile even on bad days. Have a great time at the PIR hold on when that door opens!!!
