Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congrats to all. My son is scheduled to PIR 5/7. Can you tell me what time you received the I'm a sailor call? Also, were the division colors decided by your group or are there standard colors for each division. Congratulations again to all the recruits, and families of the recruits, that passed battlestations.

My daughter call the house instead of calling me at work. I think she forgot about the time zone thing. That really sucked that I missed her call. She sound like she was almost in tears since she couldn't get hold of me or my husband. At least she got hold of my sister.

Taking a quick break from the hockey play offs to check on 165/166. Congratulations to all!!!! Now "some" of you can sleep tonight! Prayers going up for 167/168 tonight.

Did anyone hear about our recruit who had his run test today? I didn't see anything.

sending love and cheers for 167 and 168 tonight i know all in 165 passed did all in one 167 pass? i am sure they did the phone call was worth waiting for and she called her mom first even before her hubby. yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait to meet many of you will not be at meet and greet get in to late but will have my scarf on at graduation, goooooooooooooooooooooooooo 167 and 168 !!!!!!!!! oh and safe travels to those that are leaving tomorrow well to all of us i dont leave till thursday but all packed ready to go. ha ha

Congrats to all, good luck to 167/168. We are leaving very early in the morning so I will not be on unless I can steal my husbands iphone and tryto get on. We are making a two day trip and going to stop by to see my mom and dad. I will be praying for all the remaining recruits and for early calls tomorrow for yall!

to the moms, wifes, gf,grandmothers ..ok you know where i'm going with this! to all of 167 & 168 PLEASE, PLEASE try to get some sleep! YOUR GOING TO NEED IT!! i need to pack..i'm leaving in the morning and i'm so tired i don't know if i've got everything! i promise you..i did'nt sleep a wink! i really wish i had taken some TY PM. please get some rest.i will check in later.i've got to pack.be safe if you are traveling tomorrow.good luck 167 &168, my prayers are with you all.
