Cheryl: Calls should start coming as early as 2 pm EST, but probably closer to 3. But yesterday, they were a bit later. So just be ready at anytime!

Thanks Grannytr! That gives me renewed hope that I will be able to spend some time with my son in Chicago. Surely they will send all the new sailors that are going to SC together.

Cheyenna and Ramona-my grandson Ted is going to Charleston, too. He, also said he would be leaving Tuesday early am, but things change.

The scarf colors are so we can recognize each Div at the Meet & Greet and at PIR. Each Div has their own color.

Shortcake my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss! Try to think positive thoughts today. It is your day and good news is coming your way!

Cheyanna, my son is also going to Charleston, SC. in the nuke program. Are you sure about Tuesday's departure? When did you find out that they will be leaving on Tuesday? My son told me when I got his first phone call back in March that he was being shipped out Sat. morning at 2:30AM so I am hoping that he will not be leaving until Tuesday with your husband.
Comment by diannep on April 20, 2010 at 7:21am
Cheyanna: If he still has a phone card, he could call you with that, just like at boot camp.
