Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This group started on 2/8/11 and we survived boot camp, laughter and tears. Now our recruits are sailors and headed in many directions, but we'll continue to support one another throughout!

I thought you had mailed them out around 3/17 or so. They are beautiful and I really like them. Hopefully, our daughter will be able to pick us out of the growd. Tho' there will be many families with the ribbons. Can't believe it is only 5 days away. My suitcase is out and starting to get filled up. Maybe someday we can meet for real in person. Thank you for all you did for this PIR group.

The RTO went up to her and said if you know the words to the Beverly Hillbillies TV show, you can make a phone call. Well, little did he know how big a fan of that old TV show her Dad is and she knew every word and got to call home! She has passed all of her tests: physical & written. Just waiting for BS on Sunday night into Monday. It lasts for 12 hours and they start at night. I will be waiting for a phone call at my desk at work on Monday.
