Happy Birthday to Amayes' son! My son turns 19 the end of May. I'm in awe at how he has grown through this Navy process. He has BS tonight too and I'm already fidgeting! I'm almost glad I've got a ton of work to do so I can be away! It will keep me busy while I wait. I am so proud of my son and all those serving our country in such an honorable manner. Honor-Courage-Commitment GO NAVY!!! May God strengthen and encourage each one!

Happy Birthday to your son Amayes! My son has battle stations tonight.. I have a feeling I won't be getting much sleep this week. Between my anxious, excitement and working extra hours so I can be off Thurs - Monday!!

Good Luck to everyone! See you Thursday.

hi there to the girl can sail.... your guests will be able to get on base but they will have to wait until everyone is seated on the actual list before they will be allowed in to the ceremony hall. I am taking my daughter and she is not on the list but I have heard of very few being turned away from seeing the ceremony however there are 11 divisions graduating this Friday. I have only heard of a couple of ppl ever being turned away and that was in the middle of summer months. Are you coming to the meet and greet on Thursday evening at the Ramada Inn? I hope this answers your question but if it doesn't email me and I will try to answer it better then this. Blessings and Prayers to all of our Sailors! May God keep them SAFE and get them through BATTLESTATIONS~~!! WooHoo only a few more days momma's and we get to see our Sailors~~~GO NAVY~~~

Amayes, Happy Birthday to your son, almost sailor! I thought the first few days were going to be the hardest to get through, but yesterday being Easter, and today being battlestations, is really putting me through the ringer! We are almost there! At least tomorrow we are all (ship 13 div 149) going to get the call we have been waiting for. Lifting all of you up in prayer, and praying for safe, successful battlestations for all of our recruits. Hang in there Moms!

Happy Birthday to your son, amayes! You must be very proud!! :)

Best wishes and all my prayers to our recruits going through Battle Stations as they prepare for their PIR. We've got our blue candle burning and we're asking everyone we know to say a prayer or at least send a good thought to all our recruits and their families. We know they're all smart and brave and have faith that they'll do well as they face this additional challenge in their journey to become sailors of the U.S. Navy! <3

Happy birthday to your son, amayes! I'm sure he will be thinking today of all the great b days he shared with his loving family! Yesterday was our first holiday without either of our kids, and it sure was depressing! I was wondering what was going through their heads. I hope I gave them enough good memories to sustain them through their lives like my parents did for me. My daughter missed Thanksgiving last year, too. Daughter at least was able to call us yesterday. She lives in Oregon (anyone here from Oregon?). But I sure would have liked to talk to my young man. I guess I'd better get used to it.My pride in him is normally much greater than my feelings of being sorry for myself. I'd better go...have a cup of coffee or something. Have a great day everyone. Sorry for the depressing post. And honestly, amayes...I hope your recruit has a special day there in GL. He must be a very special young man to have decided at only 18 to serve our country. Congrats on such a great job raising him.

Happy 19th Birthday to my recruit!
I was hoping for a call yesterday too - just to hear his voice before BS. There have been a few BS for PIR 4/9 and I thought I would hear more mom's with the "Im a sailor" call announcing it on here. I know it is tough for the recruits but I was under the impression that a very small percentage don't make it. I pray that they all made it and that some just aren't posting they got the call. It would be so disappointing for them if they didn't. I am a nervous wreck. Each letter was encouraging that he is moving along quite nicely but man o man this whole BS stuff has me worried - Good Luck to all and Im sure us Mom's need a little to get through too!
