I though I read on this site that there are teams within Divs. for BS and everyone within the team had to pass or no one passed. Don't understand just 2 passing. I'm confused.

Hi Diana & congrats! What ship/div is your son? I'm trying to find out if my son has been to BS yet. Thanks!

My son is a USN Sailor!!! He called his Dad this afternoon. Only 2 out of his division passed today.

Had to laugh when I read your post Troy's Mom! My son did the exact same thing when he called on Wednesday (Ship04 Div 808). Of course I had been waiting all day with my phone in my hand and answered all excitedly, "Hello!", and he said "Hey mom, How ya doing?" I was practically jumping up and down, and said "Well???" and he goes "Well...I finished Battle Stations...so I get to graduate" Had to laugh! It takes alot to impress him. No muss, no fuss guy... He was suprised that I knew he was in BS when he was, so I told him about this site. He did seem impressed with all us N4M's and how we all were praying everyone thru Battle Stations! Told him he better brace himself when he sees me coming towards him at PIR! Wouldn't want to knock him down with the force of my HUG!!!! :)

Troy's mom I couldn't agree with you more...every great sailor has a N4M that raised them well to be where they are today. A proud USN Sailor. One proud N4M right here:) Woo Hoo!!!! My son was chewing on skittles right after he told me he was now a sailor, so I know the NEX came before my call ! He said they'll have some downtime next week and will be able to call again before we leave for the GL. So looking forward to meeting all of you next Thursday too. TJs mom

My call came about 5.5. hours ago.... when I answered the phone, he asked ME what I was doing.... he was so non-chalant. I told him I was waiting for his phone call.... he said "what call? The 'I'm a US Navy sailor now' phone call?" then sort of laughed.... he sounded so tired, but happy. He said he wanted to call his dad so I only talked to him about 5 mins.... his dad got a 25 min phone call. They had to compare notes as Dad was there in the 80's. So proud and happy for all our new sailors and families.... we need to remember we helped them get to the places they are at right now with our support and love for our sailors. Still praying for the rest of you (families/mom's/loved ones) still waiting on your phone calls as well as our sailors-to-be that still need to go thru BS21.
Kanga - I agree with you, this is truly special that our sailors capping ceremony was on Good Friday. Happy Easter to everyone and God Bless our sailors and their families!!
See y'all on Thursday evening!!!!

Just got the call about an hour ago. Congratulations to my son Rob and all the others who have successfully completed their boot camp training !!!!

My sailor sounded tired but it was great to hear from him and we got to talk for a long time. He said division did exceptionally well in a few areas. He missed every opportunity to call home due to illnesses, wisdom teeth, strep throat, and pink eye too. Today they sent him to the dentist after the exam so he finally called me at 720 tonight. He said he may get another call before graduation.

I feel so much better, could not be more proud of him and now need to book my flight to chicago !

See you all at the graduation......................

I can join the "received my phone call" club. My son said all of his division passed!! The support on this site is amazing and I am also very thankful for the website and opportunity to share! He was so happy to get to go to NEX and buy an energy drink and Snickers bar with almonds, lol.

Anyone here mom of Tyler B. from Spokane, WA who will also be a Seabee?
