FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Blaze... how does that work? My son would like his wife to join him as well, are the apartments expensive... should he get her on a list? We have no idea where to even start...

Yes we will. After the weekend I should be coming back to my parent command and signing my retirement paperwork and getting out of the corps and going straight back to Chicago to be with my wife while she's in A school at Great Lakes within 2 weeks.

My wife is Ship 13 Div 151. My unit wasnt going to approve my leave to go to the PIR but they finally did so I'll be surprising my wife on that day.

Talked with people at shirt place and the turn around is 4-6 weeks. Cannot get before graduation. Thought someone might be interested.

Hi Rocio and Linda, My son is ship 13 div 149. It is a possibility that they are brother ships and will do their battlestations together. Do you know when yours begins? I have not heard when my son's is and I am going nuts!
